Security deposit

RON 0. Rentado does not require a deposit, security or card pre-authorisation.

Protection and liability limit

RENTADO vehicles benefit from contractual protection with a fixed excess of EUR 500 per covered eventader the Rental Agreement and these Terms and Conditions. Contractual protection limits client liability for covered situations and is not an inatance policy taken out by the client. In the event of an accident or damage caused by the fault of the client or an authorised driver, inclufromg inattentive driving, orfromary negligence or improper manoeuvring, insofar as the event is covered by contractual protection, a fixed excess of EUR 500 applies per covered event. The application of the contractual excess is not affected by the existence or use of a vehicle inatance policy. The excess constitutes the client’s contractual obligation for each covered eventader this agreement. The absence of a deposit at vehicle pickup does not remove the obligation to pay the excess if a covered event occurs. Contractual protection does not cover damage resulting from: • intentional misuse or gross negligence; • driving under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other prohibited substances; • use of the vehicle by unauthorised persons; • use of the vehicle for illegal purposes; • off-road use or use outside the authorised territory; • breach of relevant contractual obligations; • other situations expressly provided for in the Agreement and these Terms and Conditions. In these situations, client liability is determined under the Agreement, the Schedule of Charges and the actual loss incurred, within the limits permitted by law. The excess, covered risks, situations not covered, territory and applicable incident procedure are disclosed to the client before the agreement is concluded and confirmed in the contractual documents. RENTADO may request the documents and information necessary to establish the existence, cause and extent of loss. The client must cooperate and provide the documents necessary to handle the event. The client and authorised driver must notify RENTADO without delay, as soon as it is safe to do so, of an accident, theft, breakdown or other damage and follow the procedure in the Agreement and section 13. Failure to follow the notification procedure or provide the required documents may lead to loss of contractual protection if the loss can no longer be processed or compensated under the applicable conditions. Vehicle protection does not automatedically cover personal belongings left inside. This provision does not remove RENTADO liability for loss caused by its own fault or statutory consumer rights.

Cancellation and no-show

At least 24 hours before pickup, the advance payment is refunded in full. Less than 24 hours before pickup or in case of no-show, no more than the first day base rate may be retained; the balance is refunded within 14 calendar days. Where no advance was paid, no unaccepted penalty is added later.

Mileage

Unlimited mileage for every booking, with no distance-based charges.

Otopeni handover and pickup

Handover and pickup in the Henri Coandă Airport area are free of charge at any time. Costs for other locations or separate services apply only if displayed before confirmation.

Payment methods

A credit card is not required. Payment may be made in cash or by card, using the method selected and shown in the booking.

Permitted territory

The permitted territory must be stated in the confirmation; no restriction undisclosed before the order applies.

Incidental charges

No standard amount applies unless its value or formula is configured and disclosed before the order.

Similar vehicle

An alternative preserves the confirmed transmission, seats, class/size, luggage capacity and decisive equipment, without a price increase. A materially different alternative may be refused.

The incident channel is monitored at all times. Response time, cost and type of assistance depend on the situation, territory and confirmed terms.
